Messages for students will be taken only from a parent or guardian listed on their emergency card. Students will not be called from class to the telephone except in the case of emergency at the request of a parent or guardian. In case of an emergency during school hours, school authorities will make the appropriate telephone calls.
A telephone for student usage is located in the attendance office. Students may use the school office phone for emergency calls after first obtaining permission from school personnel. Phone use is expected to be kept to a minimum. The phone should not be used for things that can be taken care of at home. Telephones in classrooms are not for student use.
Student mobile device use must follow district policies.
Abuse of these devices will result in them being taken and returned to the parent/guardian at the end of the day.
