On Thursday, November 16, 2023, Susan Clark Jr. High welcomed Brisa Mureb Sallum de Paula. Brisa is the Bassoon Professor at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI). She is originally from Brazil and has also lived in Germany. This was a fantastic experience for Jennifer Rosin’s band students to learn about bassoon and the cultural and musical differences between the three places! Thank you, Brisa, for being with our SCJH band students, and kudos to Mrs. Rosin for making this possible!
