SCJH Students and Families:
The Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP) is the summative accountability assessment for all Iowa students that meets the requirements of the federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
All students in Grades 3-11 are required by state law to participate in ISASP testing the weeks of April 3- 28.
Please review the testing schedule below. SCJH students will take their respective tests in their content classrooms sometime during the 2 designated days on April 12th and/or April 13th. In order to give adequate time for testing, the building will be running a “block” schedule.
SCJH Test Schedule: Wednesday, April 12th and Thursday, April 13th
- 7th Grade – Math, Lang/Writing, Reading(ELA will proctor Language/Writing and Reading Tests)
- 8th Grade – Math, Lang/Writing, Reading, and Science(ELA will proctor Language/Writing and Reading Tests)
- Lunch: There will be 2 lunch shifts. We will have extra tables and chairs set up in the small gym. Lunch will be grab and go each day or students may bring their own lunch.
- Tuesday – Pizza pockets or PBJ, fruits, veggies and milk
- Wednesday – Garlic pull-a-parts or PBJ, fruits, veggies and milk

Make-ups and Virtual Students: April 14th SCJH Media Center
- Students who do not complete the test for whatever reason will be working on make-ups throughout the end of the week and the following week if necessary.
- Virtual students must attend on April 14th to complete their testing.
Reminders to students:

- Quiet testing environment
- Use the restroom prior to testing
- Have a free reading book ready
- No Phones allowed out at anytime
